About Simon

Simon has always had a passion for finding and uncovering that which prevents us from succeeding or reaching our full potential. This initially came from his sporting background where he showed a keen interest and understanding for the varying disciplines, skills and mindsets required for whatever sport he was participating in. Since a young age Simon competed at various levels in a variety of sports. He was selected at county level in both Athletics and Basketball, and competed internationally in Rowing where he trained alongside Olympic athletes.

He took this passion and understanding for sports and training to University where he studied for a degree in Recreation & Leisure Management and Sports Psychology along with sports and fitness Coaching. Simon continued his studies after University by completing diplomas in Sports Massage Therapy and Ayuvedic Yoga Massage. He then studied further by completing a diploma in Clinical Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy. Simon is also an NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) and EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) practitioner.

Simon is currently in his 5th year in Formula 1 where he previously worked for 4 years as the Personal Trainer and Sports Therapist with David Coulthard. He is currently working with Dr Riccardo Ceccarelli (Formula Medicine) for the Renault F1 team focusing on the driver’s physical and mental performance. Simon has uncovered within himself an incredible ability to understand, communicate and empathise with individuals from all walks of life. His experiences in an extremely high pressured and massively demanding environment have been invaluable to his experience.

Away from the Formula 1 Circuit Simon practices his Hypnotherapy at one of London’s top Sports Injury, wound repair & Muscular Skeletal Pain Clinics, situated in Harley Street run by Julian Winer (Light Heals), as well as The House of Good Health in Henley-on-Thames run by Dr Stefan Nilsson.
